How we work

Editorial policy

How RDY prepares, labels, sources, and corrects its public family information during alpha.

We want every RDY page to answer a real question, respect the people involved, and leave the reader with a useful next step. Our public content combines practical family perspectives with carefully scoped source information.

General education and practical perspectives. Editorial standards.

Editorial notice: our use of AI

RDY Editorial is our founder-led publishing function. We use AI tools at our discretion to assist with research, drafting, organization, source comparisons, editing, revision, and other editorial work. The current glossary was drafted and checked with AI assistance under the founder’s editorial direction, with publication authorized by the founder. AI can make mistakes; attribution and automated checks are not guarantees of accuracy. We retain source and revision records and welcome corrections.

What editorial review means here

Editorial checks are separate from independent human or professional review. Our present glossary has not received independent human clinical review. We do not imply that a clinician, lawyer, or other qualified professional reviewed a page unless a verified review is explicitly identified. Publication approval does not establish legal clearance, ownership of third-party material, or human copyright authorship.

Keep the language honest

We distinguish RDY’s practical suggestions, people’s lived experiences, scientific findings, and professional guidance. A useful household exercise is not automatically a tested intervention. We state evidence limitations and avoid diagnosis, treatment, or guaranteed-outcome claims.

Make room for the whole family

We write for the person with ADHD and for the people around them: children, teens, siblings, parents, partners, grandparents, and educators. We include a perspective when it offers a distinct action or consideration, without treating any one person’s experience as universal.

Sources, corrections, and updates

Sources are linked beside the claims they support or in a numbered source list. Preparation and source-access dates describe that work, not a clinical review. We revise or withdraw content when a material error is identified. Please use the contact route on our Trust page to report a factual error or accessibility problem.

Rights and transparency

Sources retain rights in their original material. Facts, scientific findings, and ideas are not represented as RDY-owned expression. Human authorship, company licensing, and trademark matters require separate documentation; this page makes no blanket claim of legal clearance.
